Be Grateful

Give thanks for what it is that you are allowed to do each day.

No matter your job, you can find a way to become stressed and overwhelmed by what you do. All things have challenges and benefits. That is simply part of life.

It is easy to get caught up in the chaos of the day to day. Often we allow ours mind to worry about what there is to do next and to be consumed by stress.

But we must remember to pause.

No matter where you are, or what you are doing, pause. Take a moment to simply notice. Notice what it is you are doing, and why you are doing it. Maybe it is something you have always wanted, but you are taking it for granted. Or maybe it is something you never wanted, but you are doing it anyway. No matter what it is, you have a choice.

Stop and give thanks for being where you are. To be doing something you truly believe in and care about, despite the chaos that surrounds it.

Or give thanks for realizing that this is not where you want to be. But knowing that you have the power to change that, no matter who hard it might be.

Do not let stress consume you. Do not allow it to make you feel stuck. Do not allow it to stop you for appreciating what you do. Take life one step, one breath, at a time.

No matter where we stand, there is so much to give thanks for. No matter where you are, be grateful.
