All too often we stop ourselves before we begin. I am very guilty of this. If I feel like I cannot give something, or someone, my full attention and focus, I avoid it. But that is not right. I cannot do everything all of the time. Nor can I get where I want to be without doing something.
We stop ourselves from doing something because it is not exactly what we want or where we want to be. We let fear stop us from starting. We try to control tomorrow, today. But life doesn’t work that way.
You should not begin where you want to end. How could you grow then?
Today, you do everything that you can do at this moment in time. But you cannot always do it all, and that is okay. You must keep the end goal in mind and trust. If you put in the work, everything you want in this life will happen for you. It might not happen tomorrow, but it will all happen.
“Do your practice, all is coming”
You cannot control the chaos that surrounds you. But you can find peace from within. All you have to do is begin. Know that wherever you are and whatever you are doing, it is only the start, not the end. So focus, center in, and allow yourself to begin.
Don’t give up. The beginning is always the hardest.
